Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country located in the heart of southeast Europe on the Balkan peninsula. Formerly part of Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina gained independence in 1992. The Bosnian region is in the north and center of the country and is a mountainous region covered with thick forests.
